Clear limits on what this site measures.

This site uses GoatCounter to count page visits and a limited set of useful actions.

Page reports can include the requested page, referring page or campaign, approximate country, browser family, operating system, and screen size.

Action reports record only a controlled label. These actions include using home-page links, selecting research themes or filters, opening research details or abstracts, following PDF links, copying citations, opening figures, visiting Side Projects, and using the Calculator’s Calculate or Copy controls.

GoatCounter does not place visitor-tracking cookies, persist IP addresses, or store complete user-agent strings. This site does not use advertising trackers, cross-site profiles, fingerprinting, session replay, or reverse-person lookup.

No calculator expression, result, copied text, email content, or other free-form input is included in an analytics event. Analytics is not used to identify visitors, and visitor data is not sold or shared for advertising.

The site stores a light-or-dark theme preference in the browser. The Calculator can also store its angle setting and recent calculation history locally so those features continue to work between visits. Those values remain on the device and are not sent to the site owner.

If analytics is disabled below, that preference is also stored in this browser. Clearing site data will clear these local preferences.
